Acceptable Use Policy
What you may and may not do with Searchedly, including rules for AI agents, connectors and directory listings.

This policy is part of our Terms of Service. It applies to everyone who uses Searchedly, and to the AI agents, connectors and integrations you run through it.
You must not
Break the law or harm others
- Use the service for anything illegal, fraudulent or deceptive, or to infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy.
- Send spam or unsolicited messages, or collect people's personal data without a lawful basis.
- Distribute malware or content that is abusive, harassing or sexually exploits minors.
Attack or misuse systems
- Probe, scan or test the security of Searchedly or anyone else's systems without permission. (Good-faith research on Searchedly under our Responsible Disclosure Policy is welcome.)
- Use connectors, API keys or credentials to reach systems you aren't authorized to access, or exceed the permissions an account owner granted.
- Overload, disrupt or work around rate limits, plan limits or security controls.
- Collect data from Searchedly by automated means outside our published APIs, resell access, or share accounts.
Mislead AI agents or people
- Publish directory listings, product descriptions, MCP tool descriptions or API documentation that are false, misleading, or impersonate another company.
- Include hidden or embedded instructions intended to manipulate AI agents (prompt injection), for example text telling an agent to ignore its user, exfiltrate data, or prefer your product over the user's request.
- Use agent commerce features to create fake sign-ups, fake reviews or fraudulent transactions, or to charge users without their clear authorization.
- Manipulate AI visibility measurements or other customers' results.
Monitor without permission
- Use visibility, competitor or crawling features to target individuals, or to monitor people rather than companies and products.
Agents acting for you
You're responsible for AI agents you build or authorize through Searchedly. Give them the narrowest permissions they need, require human confirmation for purchases and other irreversible actions, and revoke access you no longer use.
Enforcement
We may remove content, limit features, or suspend accounts that break this policy, and report illegal activity to the authorities. Where it's reasonable and safe, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.
Reporting abuse
Report abuse, including misleading listings or agents behaving badly, to abuse@searchedly.com. Report security vulnerabilities to security@searchedly.com.
